YC XieYC Xie was born and raised in Shanghai, China. Prior to Ross, he worked at several different companies in China including McDonald as a HR manager. Since HR roles were about cost management, he wanted to do something making profits and revenues, which became a strong motivation to do an MBA degree at Ross. Also due to his family background, he had lots of interests in the healthcare industry, making him pursue a dual degree in MPH.
